Privacy by absence

What isn't there
can't be taken.

VEIL doesn't protect your files. It erases their existence.

Capture a photo or video inside VEIL and it leaves the visible world. No ordinary gallery copy. No media cloud. No path out. Only you decide when it returns.

VEIL ghost mark

Captured here Sealed here Absent everywhere else

The problem isn't the file

It's everywhere
the file exists.

A private photo rarely lives in one place. It leaves previews, backups, copies, exports, and open screens behind it. Every trace becomes somewhere it can be found.

  • 01Photo library
  • 02Cloud backup
  • 03Shared album
  • 04App switcher
  • 05Screen recording

Privacy begins when the trail ends.

From file to ghost

It doesn't get hidden.
It disappears.

  1. 01

    Capture

Take a photo or video inside VEIL.

  2. 02

    Vanish

VEIL seals it before it can become another ordinary copy.

  3. 03

    Return

Open it privately when you choose. The media stays with you throughout.

To the world, nothing happened.

No upload of your photo. No duplicate in your normal gallery. No share button waiting to betray a private moment.

What disappears

The file remains yours.
Its exposure does not.

01

No gallery copy

Private media begins inside VEIL, away from the library where ordinary photos and videos live.

02

No VEIL media cloud

VEIL does not keep your photos or videos on an application server. The media remains on your device.

03

No path out

There is no import, share, or export flow. VEIL is designed to stop private media from multiplying.

04

No exposed screen

VEIL blocks system screenshots and screen recordings while protected content is open, and hides the app the moment you leave it.

No application can stop an external camera from photographing a physical display.

Ghost Mode

Make it disappear
from yourself.

Some files need more than privacy. They need distance. Choose a photo, video, or complete album. Set the moment it can return. Until then, VEIL makes it unavailable—even to you.

  • One file or a complete album
  • A return time chosen by you
  • Removed from the ordinary gallery while absent
  • Returned automatically when the moment arrives

Example return time

You created the ghost. You cannot summon it early.

Some things need protection from other people.
Some things need protection from the present.

The screen is part of the vault

Now you see it.
Now no one does.

When private media returns, VEIL protects the moment it is visible. Leave VEIL and the screen disappears behind an opaque privacy layer.

01

No captured screen

Protected content cannot be taken through normal system screenshot or screen recording controls where the operating system supports blocking.

02

No app-switcher memory

The moment VEIL becomes inactive, the open file is replaced by the ghost mark on black.

Even its reflection disappears.

Quantum-resistant by design

Private now.
Built for what comes next.

VEIL protects every capture with post-quantum cryptography—protection designed for both today's computers and the quantum era ahead.

You do not need to understand the science to benefit from it. Capture. Vanish. Return. VEIL handles everything between.

Powered by CIFER

Your media stays here.
Trust lives elsewhere.

CIFER is a decentralized network of protected computing environments. It authorizes the private return of your files without receiving the photo or video itself.

01

Protected hardware

Sensitive operations happen inside isolated environments.

02

Distributed trust

No single machine carries the complete responsibility.

03

Media stays local

CIFER never needs the photo or video to authorize its return.

VEIL makes the file a ghost. CIFER makes sure only you can call it back.

The potential of absence

What if privacy was not
a place, but a state?

VEIL begins with private photos and videos. The larger idea is a personal disappearance layer: information that can leave ordinary reach, remain yours, and return only under conditions you chose.

Future possibility

Time enforced beyond the device

Ghost Mode can grow into protected hardware that refuses every early return.

Future possibility

Private continuity

Encrypted continuity between devices without creating a readable media cloud.

Future possibility

More kinds of ghosts

The same principle can extend beyond memories to any personal information that should exist for its owner and nowhere else.

The VEIL manifesto

Private is not a folder.

Private is not a password screen.

Private is not a cloud promising not to look.

Private is the absence of anything to find.

No trail.No copy.No audience.

A file that belongs to you—
and exists for no one else.

What isn't there can't be taken.

Questions

Nothing hidden
in the small print.

Does VEIL delete my files?

No. “Erases their existence” describes how VEIL removes their ordinary digital exposure. Your encrypted media remains on your device and returns when you choose to open it.

Does VEIL upload my photos or videos?

No. VEIL does not operate a media cloud. Your photos and videos stay on your device.

What is Ghost Mode?

Ghost Mode makes a photo, video, or album unavailable until a time you choose. It disappears from your ordinary gallery and returns when the countdown ends.

Can VEIL block screenshots?

VEIL blocks normal system screenshots and screen recordings while protected content is open, where supported by the operating system. No application can prevent an external camera from photographing a physical screen.

What happens if I lose my device?

VEIL does not keep a recovery copy of your media. If the device and its files are lost or deleted, VEIL cannot restore them.

What does CIFER do?

CIFER provides the protected network that authorizes a file's return. Your photo or video never needs to leave the device.

What does private access mean?

VEIL is being introduced to a limited group before wider availability. Request access and we will contact you when an invitation is available.
